Blood Moon is a love story in the time of an uprising or the story of a betrayed uprising, depending on your point of view. While barricades are being erected in Barmbek, two young people try to get to know each other anew and end up facing the old dilemma: retreat into private happiness or the risk of collective action. Blood Moon is a play development based on the events of the Hamburg Uprising of 1923.
